Mama Out of Africa is an unusual riverside dwelling built around the original bus used by Meryl Streep and Robert Redford during the filming of Out of Africa.
The house accommodates up to six guests and includes a private en-suite master bedroom, along with two additional bedrooms on the upper floor that share a bathroom located downstairs. A large living and dining area opens onto a broad deck overlooking the river, where much of the day is spent watching the water, the birds, and the wildlife along the banks.
A well-equipped kitchenette allows for independent living, while private dining can be arranged.
The river is never far from sight. From the deck, guests can watch the changing light on the water, listen to the calls of fish eagles at dawn, and observe the steady rhythm of life along the Zambezi. It is a place to slow down and settle into the landscape.
Every house on the property has access to a pool, WiFi, and air conditioning.
